In addition to providing general guidance to private clients concerning making provision for the future, we also offer specialised advice on matters of particular interest and of concern to the elderly.  We understand that the elderly and even younger clients are concerned about losing their homes to pay for long-term care and wish to protect the passing of their assets from one generation to the next.  We therefore offer advice concerning the gifting of property and the implications that this has for liability to pay for future care if required. 

We appreciate that clients may have concerns about who will make decisions about the treatment and care they receive should they become mentally incapable.  We can advise on the options available to clients, including the making of Lasting Powers of Attorney, to ensure that their property and affairs, or decisions about their treatment and welfare, are dealt with by someone in whom they have trust.
