Watsons Solicitors is offering free expert advice and guidance at a community event to mark International Day of Older People on October 1.
Organised by LifeTime, a leisure and social network for people 50-plus, run by Warrington Housing Association, A Celebration of Ageing Well is being held at The Gateway, a conference centre in the heart of the town.
Watsons probate department members Kristel Clarke and Jennifer Stewart will be on-hand to discuss wills and age-relevant legal advice throughout the occasion between 10.30am and 1.30pm.
Kristel, partner at the Warrington-based firm, said: “Watsons Solicitors loves being at the core of the community and this is another perfect opportunity to meet and assist people.
“It’s important that the older generation are supported, and the work that LifeTime does to keep those members of the public active and engaged is wonderful.”
LifeTime believes that ageing well is about more than just staying healthy – it’s about staying connected, informed, and empowered, with the event acting as a celebration of the strength, wisdom, and vitality of our older community.
There are live performances from the LifeTime choir and ukelele groups, as well as Zumba fitness and line dancing classes.
As well as legal advice from the team at Watsons, free services and support on offer include:
- Health checks
- Energy-saving guidance
- Hand massage and skincare tips
- Hearing and ear care advice and checks
Kristel added: “There’s plenty to see and do on the day, and both Jennifer and I are looking forward to seeing everyone.
“It should be a fantastic occasion where the people of Warrington can come together and celebrate the over 50s.”
