Yule be sorry if you miss it! A leading Cheshire law firm is hoping to spread a bit of festive cheer by sponsoring a free-to-attend Christmas cinema.
It’s snow joke! Watsons Solicitors is contributing to the screenings which are taking place in Old Market Square at the Golden Square Shopping Centre in Warrington.
But wait—there’s myrrh! There will also be mulled wine and other drinks available for purchase, as well as bratwurst sandwiches, sweets and more from festive food stalls.
Watsons has been a fixture in the Cheshire town since the 1950s, and believes it’s important businesses like them do their part to support events that bring people together.
Partner and member of the family department Danny Hudson said: “As a high street firm, we know how important it is to support events like this, especially in a year like 2020.
“We’re passionate about being at the heart of the community here in Warrington, and this was a great opportunity for us to do just that.
“As a firm, we’re very happy to get behind this event, and hope it spreads a little Christmas joy.
Films include The Muppet Christmas Carol, Home Alone, Frozen and How the Grinch Stole Christmas, with showings every day at 4.30pm between 14 December and 3 January except Christmas Day.
