After Warrington Wolves’ underdog victory at Wembley, the prestigious Challenge Cup will be gracing Watsons Solicitors’ offices.
Fans are invited to pose with the trophy this Friday (20th September) between 12pm and 2pm at our premises on Bold Street.
There will also be a chance to register your interest in Will Week, which runs from 11 to 15 November.
Will Week allows people to receive a free Will in return for a charitable donation to the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation. The foundation provides life-changing opportunities through sport, education, health and the arts, which enrich, inspire and celebrate the Warrington community.
The Challenge Cup photo opportunity and the confirmation of this year’s Will Week activity continues the relationship between Watsons and Warrington Wolves and the charity
Last year, the Warrington law firm raised £2,000 during Will Week for the sporting charity’s heritage activities, which helped with the upkeep of a history wall on the south stand of the club’s Halliwell Jones stadium.
This year, Watsons have sponsored the cider bar at the Wolves 2 Wire Beer Festival, as well as sponsored the shorts for Ryan Atkins’ testimonial match.
Alex Mitchell, partner and head of the private client department said: “We have a fabulous relationship with Warrington Wolves and the Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation and are thrilled to be continuing this.
“Both organisations mean so much to the people of Warrington, and this was evident with the turnout at the parade in the town centre following on from the team upsetting favourites St Helens in the final.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for fans to have their picture taken with the Challenge Cup, which has created special memories for many people over the years.
“It’s also a good opportunity for people to enquire about Will Week. We know how daunting the process can be, and our team will be on hand to answer any questions.”
