A Warrington law firm has strengthened its community links by sponsoring a primary school football team.
Youngsters turning out to represent Bewsey Lodge Primary School’s football team will wear strips bearing the Watsons Solicitors logo after the business offered its support.
It is the latest in a series of sporting community outreach efforts by Watsons Solicitors, which has also given its backing to the Warrington Wolves Learning Disability Rugby League (LDRL) team, as well as supporting the club’s charitable foundation through its annual Will Week event.
The firm has previously provided kits for Chapelford Village Primary School, Bruche Athletic and Lymm Ladies Hockey team in addition to being a driving force behind the re-instated Warrington Business Awards – recognising the best of the town’s business community.
Danny Hudson, partner and member of the family law team at Watsons Solicitors, said: “As a law firm based at the heart of the community in Warrington, we are always keen to support local schools and organisations.
“We are part of Warrington’s community and with business comes a social responsibility. We try and help out where we can. We have a particular passion for supporting sport because it drives inclusivity and wellbeing in the community which can only bring benefits to the people involved.
“We are really pleased the children at Bewsey Lodge Primary School will be wearing the Watsons logo on their kit for their matches moving forward and look forward to hearing about their results. We hope it brings them a little luck on the field!”
