Watsons Solicitors has once again brought the magic of Christmas to Warrington for 500 disadvantaged children this festive season.
Through its support of the Warrington Disability Partnership, young people have been given the opportunity to visit the amazing Santa’s Grotto at Walton Hall and Gardens for free.
Each child was able to experience the Winter Wonderland Trail, take part in the reindeer quiz, meet Mrs Clause, and receive a present from Father Christmas himself over the weekend of 22-23 November.
Watsons, based in the heart of the town, first became involved with the Warrington Disability Partnership’s Santa’s Grotto 12 months ago, with another 500 youngsters experiencing the magic of Christmas.
Kristel Clarke, partner and member of the probate department at the Warrington law firm, said: “When we saw the call for businesses or individuals to help, we jumped at the chance to offer our support in 2024, and it was an easy decision to back the charity once again.
“It’s a truly magical time of year, and the thought of children and young people not being able to experience all that is special about the festive season really hits home.
“We are always eager to do what we can to assist the community, and this was a cause we were all desperate to get behind and do what we can to help make Christmas one to remember.”
Kristel was able to experience Santa’s Grotto for herself, adding: “It was an absolutely lovely evening, with the community choir in full festive song and the opportunity to meet Father Christmas.
“It was such a humbling occasion at a very special time of the year for so many.”
