Watsons Solicitors is providing the perfect stocking filler this Christmas by supporting two fantastic causes.
The Cheshire-based law firm has given its backing to Stand Out Socks, which in turn is helping the Cash for Kids charity this festive period.
Stand Out Socks, which earned investment from Peter Jones and Steven Bartlett on Dragons’ Den, sells unisex socks that “exude vibrancy, audacity, and a dash of eccentricity”, providing individuality and servicing as a catalyst for increased awareness of Down Syndrome.
The company aims to foster inclusivity and independence for people with learning disabilities by creating paid employment opportunities.
Watsons has created its own socks, with a minimum of £1 from every sale going to Cash for Kids, which is on a mission to help struggling families this Christmas.
Supporting children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness and those with additional needs, thousands could wake up on 25 December with no presents to open.
Danny Hudson, partner and member of the family department at Watsons, said: “With Stand Out Socks also based in Warrington and doing so much good in the community, it made perfect sense to help them.
“We are proud of the wonderful work they do in both the town and beyond, and with our backing, they get to positively impact Cash for Kids.
“The realisation that not every child or young person enjoys and celebrates Christmas really hits home when the choice is between heating a home or buying food, rather than opening presents from Santa.
“Through our link with Stand Out Socks, we can help make a difference to those who find the festive season difficult.”
