Louise lands at Watsons to strengthen conveyancing department

October 10, 2024

Louise Turner believes she is in the best possible hands after becoming the latest member of the property department at Watsons Solicitors.

The Cheshire-based law firm has appointed Louise to help handle all legal aspects of buying or selling a property and bolster the company’s conveyancing team.

Joining Chris Illingworth, Lauren Hosie, and Steve Martin, Louise is eager to boost her expertise and further cement Watsons’ place as a leading law firm.

Louise, who studied an LLB honours degree at the University of Liverpool before completing a Master of Law in professional legal practice at the University of Law, said: “It’s great to have joined the team at Watsons, all of whom are more than happy to help.

“To be able to lean on the experience and knowledge of Steve, Chris, and Lauren is invaluable to me, because I know I’ve still got plenty to learn about some of the more unusual aspects of conveyancing.

“The sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfer of equity were my areas of focus at my former law firm, but with the help and guidance of the team, I want to add new builds and shared ownership to my skillset.

“At the moment, my caseload is still developing, but that is part of a strategy which will enable me to grow and become the best solicitor I can.”

Louise, who lives in Haydock, has not only found that there is no shortage of help and support on offer, but also a warm and welcoming environment that has allowed her to hit the ground running.

“It’s fantastic to be able to start and finish a job for a client, which is something I wasn’t used to before moving to Watsons,” she continued.

“It empowers you to really know what the needs of that individual or individuals are and make sure that they get the very best experience and outcome.

“That personal touch resonates through the firm, with every member of the team like family, and I look forward to going into the office to see people.”

Chris, partner and member of the conveyancing department, is pleased to welcome Louise into the team.

He said: “Being able to attract someone as openly invested in learning and developing as Louise is fantastic for us as a law firm.

“We want to attract people who value the personal touch and have a warmth to them, and it is plain to see that Louise has that in abundance.

“We look forward to seeing her grow with us and become a key member of the department.”
