A recent industry study highlighted that clients are more at ease communicating digitally by email and online chat, especially when making initial enquiries.
The research found that 83 per cent of current and future consumers prefer to liaise with firms online, and we want to understand the preferences of people in Warrington and Cheshire.
Danny Hudson, partner and family law specialist, said: “The findings were surprising to us. It goes against everything we believed, which is that clients favour the personal touch such as face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations.
“We continually seek to meet the expectations of our clients and the best way to ensure we achieve this is by communicating with you.
“This helps us to review our internal processes and systems and implement changes where necessary.
“Also in the research, it was interesting to note that as well as the majority of people favouring to communicate online, more than half (55 per cent) still want face-to-face contact with lawyers.
“We firmly believe meetings in person help to build trust and relationships, which often allow for a smoother journey through the legal process.”
