A Cheshire law firm has bolstered its conveyancing department with the recruitment of an experienced solicitor.
Chris Illingworth joins Watsons Solicitors and brings 20 years’ conveyancing experience in the Warrington and Cheshire area, including heading up the new build team in his previous role.
Chris, who specialises in residential conveyancing, is no stranger to Watsons Solicitors with the two regularly working together on opposite sides of house purchases and sales.
The law firm has built an enviable reputation as the go-to conveyancing solicitors in Cheshire, with instructions rising each year.
Chris said: “When I was on the outside looking in, the personnel at Watsons Solicitors were always very professional and prompt in dealing with enquiries.

Chris, who lives in Cheshire and classes Warrington as his ‘working home’, studied law at the University of Northampton before qualifying as a solicitor in 2001. He was made a partner at a law firm in Congleton before moving to a Warrington-based counterpart in 2014.

“In addition to servicing clients, I will also be working closely with the team to update systems and increase integrations such as on our website to help us improve efficiencies.
