Watsons Solicitors has continued to showcase its unwavering support for the community of Warrington.
Situated in the heart of the town for more than 65 years, the law firm has stepped up to back an educational trip as well as a key fixture in the fitness calendar.
With that in mind, Watsons stepped in at the 11th hour to help fund Brook Acre Community Primary School’s trip to London.
The children of the Padgate-based school created a card thanking the solicitors for its generosity.
Danny Hudson, partner, and member of the family law department at Watsons, said: “What a lovely present from Brook Acre Primary school!
“They got in touch with us after a last-minute change in funding meant that they needed some help to make sure that the children could go on their planned trip.
“We were happy to assist, and this was the result! A great life experience for the children and a brilliant little card for us.”
Watsons has also extended its backing of the Warrington Running Festival for another year.
The world’s first free-to-enter, chip-timed, closed-road run, features a 5km, 10km, half marathon, and juniors race. Supporting St Rocco’s Hospice, the event is scheduled for Sunday 22 September.
Some 6,000 people participated in 2023, including Watsons Solicitors partners Alex Mitchell and Chris Illingworth.
Alex, a private client specialist, completed the 10km in 56 minutes and four seconds, with residential conveyancing solicitor Chris finishing the half marathon in two hours, 14 minutes, and 34 seconds.
Danny added: “Helping people of all ages keep fit and healthy is high on our agenda, and this sponsorship aligns perfectly.
“The backing the festival receives makes it accessible for everyone, and who knows, that might even include some more of the Watsons team this year.
“We are both proud to be at the heart of the Warrington community and eager to give back when we can.”
